NTP delivers five programs across the Goldfields, providing culturally safe support for Aboriginal women, children and families.
NTP delivers the Intensive Family Support Service (IFSS) in the Goldfields. This state-wide program supports Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal families experiencing disadvantage, complex challenges and trauma — including intergenerational trauma.
The program provides intensive in-home support, helping families build parenting and living skills to improve wellbeing and safety.
Funded by the Western Australia Department of Communities.
Mara Pirni Healing Place is a culturally safe healing space where community members can connect, reflect and access support grounded in Aboriginal ways of knowing and being.
The healing place provides a calm, welcoming environment where people can access support without judgment — on their own terms and in their own time.
The Strong Women / Strong Girls Program empowers Aboriginal women and girls through connection, culture and community. It builds confidence, resilience and leadership in a safe and supportive environment.
The program reflects NTP's core belief: when women are strong, families are strong.
NTP has been awarded a $250,000 WA Government grant to develop a Goldfields Indigenous Healing Service (IHS). The IHS model provides services for children and young people impacted by abuse, including child sexual abuse.
The service is informed by traditional and local Aboriginal healing practices, ensuring support is culturally appropriate and community-led.
Supported by a $250,000 grant from the WA Government (October 2025).
The NTP Hub at 459 Hannan Street is the heart of NTP's operations — a welcoming community space where women and families can connect, access programs and find support.
Reopened in July 2023 after extensive renovations, the hub features a stunning mural by local artist Em Anders and provides a functional, culturally appropriate environment for NTP's programs.
Renovations supported by Morgans Financial, MLG and AngloGold Ashanti.
NTP's programs depend on community support. Your donation helps us continue delivering culturally safe services in the Goldfields.
